Accountability - What did you eat, Tuesday 5/8?

Up and at at it bright and early this morning, had a pre-workday staff meeting and was asked to pick up breakfast bagels before getting there for the group - this can be dangerous since I'm not eating the carbs right now but am making the orders I tend to transfer my desires into the order process...Thus we ended up with way too much that all sounds really good and I didn't eat one bite of it, so people are looking at me strangely - I mean I did pick all this stuff out As for Tuesday : B - 20 1/2 caf sf/ff french vanilla & caramel latte S - med banana with 2 tbsp peanutbutter and added fiber L - 1 1/2 cups caesar salad with dried cranberries, bacon bits and nuts added       2 italian sausage stuffed mushrooms (new recipe, VERY tasty) D - Choc/Caramel/Coffee protein frappachino S - 2 prunes PLUS - 83 oz water/crystal light Doesn't sound like alot but really added up to quite a few cals for the day, some days just don't feel like eating much but still manage to get it all in by doing protein in liquid form...Have an outstanding day to all    Alesia

ooops forgot  to list my food. S--2 16 oz sf frv nf latte B- low carb pzza S- 6 animal crackers L-eas low carb protien bar S- none D- tried to eat a pork chop, but threw up all of it, later drank a latte, then ate like 30 cheese it crackers and 3 inch colby cheese  S- 2 protien balls

Hey Sheila, Thanks for the support, I felt pretty good about yesterday overall, although not sure I ate enough...Notice when I drink protein for dinner it usually comes around the next day with me wanting to eat more, kinda feeling that now so will probably have a little something extra at lunch to satisfy the urge... Sorry your dinner did not agree with you, know you have tummy troubles, keep trying and jus****ch to make sure the meats your eat are moist enough ( add gravy or sauce to it if you need to)...  Alesia

After lurking for so long waiting to hit my one year I can finally post here.. So good morning all.. I have been watching you all for a long time and would love to be part of the board...

Yesterday was ok for me I guess..

I did all my vitamins

Didnt drink enough water. I may have gotten 50 cc's in.. was a busy day for me.. starting earlier today..

B- protein shake 250 calories 35 pro
S- banana 100 calories 4 pro
L- chicken thigh and veggies 250 cals 25 pro
D- chicken with cheese and veggies 300 cals 30 pro
S- pretzels 100 cals 2 pro.

Totals 1000 cals and 96 protein.

So that was my day..

Hi Carla, Welcome to the accountability post and congratulations on your recent 1 year surgiversary, you have come so far, I hope you have met or are close to attaining the goals you set for yourself...Thank you for posting with us...If this is a typical day I think you did well on food, you already know that you needed a bit more water/liquids and are working on improving on that...Look forward to seeing you on the boards...  Alesia

Wow, Alesia - another great day!!  I'm SO proud of you!! B - 3/4 c Wheat Chex w/2 T ground flaxseed, 1 c ff milk, banana S - 8 oz nsa peach yogurt, AchievONE L - apple w/2 T pb, sf Jell-O cup, sf rice pudding cup, 5 sf Werthers S - 1 c grapes, 1 oz Swiss cheese, AchievONE D - Lean Cuisine lasagne florentine, sf Jell-O cup w/ff Reddi-Wip, sf fudgie S - 3 oz lf Pringles chips, 1/4 cantalope Plus I had 48 oz water, 21 oz Chick-fil-A diet lemonade, 16 oz half decaf coffee, 16 oz green tea, 12 oz cf Diet Coke, 16 oz sf hot cocoa w/ff RW plus I treaded for 60 minutes (even though my back is not feeling too good )

 Thank you, it is keeping my attitude positive...Your day looks great, does the achieve one taste like starbucks bottled coffees?  I've been wanting to try it, but no place close sells singles and I'm not taking the chance on orderin a case to find I don't really like it... Whats up with the back, is this a longtime injury or something new?  Sorry to hear you're hurting, take it easy and don't overdo... Alesia

Hi, Alesia!  Yeah,  the AchievONE's taste a lot like Starbucks bottled frappucinos.  It's the only protein drink I like.  To me, they don't taste "proteiny".    I wish they were sold locally, also - the shipping on them is atrocious 'cause of the glass bottles!  But I'm addicted so what're ya gonna do?!?  LOL I've always had lower back pain, but, apparently, I did something that really strained the muscle - probably when I was cleaning Monday.  It's slowly getting better every day but it's so maddening - every once in a while it "catches" and I about go out of my skin!!  Oh, well - other people have lots worse problems so I'll try not to complain!  It actually helps to walk - that seems to loosen it up.  Yay!  LOL Have a great day!!!!!

Hello all,

What a beautiful day here today in SE CT. Temp around 80* and sunny.

After I got some vacuuming and dusting done and prepped items for dinner I went out and watered my plants and took my dog Bailey for a walk. I need to work more with him to train him to walk on a leash. He tends to get distracted and twists around me or pulls on the leash and hurts my shoulders. I watched a show about training your dog to walk on a leash so I guess I will just have to keep reinforcing what they suggested and hopefully in time he will learn.
