Accountability - What did you eat, Tuesday 4/1?

Hello its me, and boy am I running late this morning...Thanks for noticing Sheila...Crazy day at the office, good thing I got some caffeine in to keep me whizzing along...Yesterday Sher posted that she would like some feedback on total cals, fat, carbs and protein that we as a group eat for comparison...I'm going to start tracking on Fitday again today so I can give stats, I know it would be appreciated if others could track also, so if you can please post this info with your daily food... Otherwise yesterday, my 1st day on the new program went great, of course it was only day one, I expect the carb and sugar demons   will be talking over my shoulder in the next day or two and that is when the real "fun" begins...  B - 10 oz choc/coffee/banana protein frappachino S - 4oz lf cottage cheese       snak size sf jello L - 1/2 cup chicken salad       1 cup green salad with cranberries, peanuts, irish cheddar and lf herb dressing S- 1 oz grilled london broil D - 3 protein balls S - medium banana with 2 tbsp peanutbutter and added fiber Have a great day  Alesia

Gotta love those busy days at the office.  It's been kinda slow around here lately and some days I've been even getting bored.  But it's almost summer and thats when it really gets going around here (I'm the accounting manager for a big construction company).  Anyways, my day yesterday looks really similar to monday...I pretty much ate the same thing.  The scale said 172 this morning.. YIPPEE  That's my new all time low weight.  Here's how it went.. B: 20oz sugar free vanilla nonfat latte S: south beach diet breakfast bar L: pizza chicken - chicken, marinara, pepperoni, and mozzarella cheese S: salad with lettuce, tomato, onion, croutons, dried cranberries, blue cheese, and italian dressing S: 24oz passion fruit iced tea lemonade unsweetened and then I added 3 packets splenda (from Starbucks) D: homemade philly cheesteak Calories: 1258 Fat: 49 Carbs: 115 Protein: 90 Kerri

Hey Kerri, I do insurance and I wish I could say there was a slow down, so far NOT... AWESOME  for hitting that new all time low, 170 here we come!!!  Great food day, I haven't had any cold drinks from Starbucks since surgery, the tea is good? I feel like I did horrid. I feel like I ate way to much. I feel like a pig, and I feel like if I eat like this I will gain all my weight back.  ok. i confess im not good at figuring the fit day thing. i do my best by entering this info, sorry all. B-2 venti sf fv nf latte's S- 1 lf string cheese L- 1/2 turkey sandwhich with mayo, lettuce, tomato, onion and 1/2 sandwhich size bag baked chips. S-the other half of the chips. D- 3/4 of a small cheeseburger,w/mustard, mayo, ketchup, lettuce , tomato, onion, pickles S-olive garden- 4 cups coffe with cream and splenda, 2 bites of  grilled chicken. S- snack size popcorn. and i tried that recipe for protien balls and ate one so I could taste it 60 oz water

Hi Sheila, Let me ask you something? - It does not look like you ate too much compared to my usual day, as a matter of fact I would say you have a really GREAT food day, but my question has to do with your fear of weight gain...Did you weight yesterday? How about today? Did your weight change, I'll bet it did not... Anyway, keep up the good work and work on getting past the image issues - you surpassed both your doctor and personal goals - you are doing great, don't let your mind play tricks on you...  Alesia

Sheila, Don't feel like you ate too much.  I was trying to figure out your calories for you and it came up around 1300.  If you are trying to maintain your weight, then you still probably aren't eating enough. I think you are doing sooo well and you shouldn't be so hard on yourself.  Keep up the good work. ok . ty so much. no I didnt way. I dont own a scale . I get weighed at the dr. He was upset cause I lost 3 more lbs since i saw him last. im not purposely trying to loose i just dont want to gain. ty for the info. well to be honest a part of me does want to be about 13 lbs lighter, but im really not trying to eat to loose, just if it happens i wont be upset. It is really hard to try not to worry about gaining, but im working on it with my counselor and stuff. its good to know im still doing ok.thanks

Sheila, Glad to hear you are working with someone on the harder issues of weight loss, so many, myself included have head issues to confront and overcome...You are doing so much better on type and quantity of food, stay focused you ARE doing better than OK, you're doing better everyday you continue to work on it...
