Good Morning, has May brought you flowers?  That's what comes after April Showers, right?  I'm picking up a bouquet this morning, to have on my desk to celebrate May... Well, today I'm starting my pre-surgery food program, my pledge is to eliminate "real" sugar treats completely and limit carbs to complex only for the next 6 weeks until my surgery date...Know I will have to be careful about what I'm eating while doing this because one of the reasons I added in simple carbs and limited real sugar was because I could not keep in maintenance without doing so ( I just kept losing without the extras, of course this may not be the case now, I will have to see how it goes, not really looking to lose any significant amounts between now and June 13th)... B - 20 1/2 caf sf/ff cinnamon dulce latte S - 1 slice nsa banana bread with 2 tbsp peanutbutter and added fiber L - 1 cup mac-n-cheese (extra cheesy)      1/2 a fire grilled zucchini      5 chocolate dipped mini pretzels S - 3 sf wafer cookies with 1 tbsp of peanutbutter and added fiber spred on top D - 1 cup italien chicken with pastina ( cassarole with 2 oz chicken (in 1 serving), gemelli, diced                tomatoes onions, garlic and mozzerella cheese then topped with bread crumbs & baked) S - 1 slice sf peanutbutter cheesecake drizzled with sf fudge sauce PLUS - 83.5 oz water/crystal light No water aerobics tonight, it my Harley Club meeting night, will eat dinner in advance since I never know what they will serve and don't want to be tempted the 1st day to break my pledge... Have an awesome day to all Alesia

Just want to thankyou for all your support and feedback.

I notice you don't put number of calories in your totals. I was interested in the amount of calories that this group usually take in on a daily basis to see whether I take in too many or not enough.

Got in 35 minutes on my tredmill, burned 153 cal.

Spent 2 hours outdoors painting railings, had some great weather here in SE CT today. Some flowers finally showed their blooms in my yard.

Hi Sher, Cannot speak for the others, but I at this stage I usually only track in fitday 1 or 2 times a month, randomly to monitor intake, it can range from 1100-1500...However, can see possible benefit of daily calorie record keeping ( did it everyday through my 1st year post-op) so I will start up tracking daily again and include my daily totals in my morning postings... See ya tomorrow...  Alesia
