Good Morning... Thursday was a really good food day for me...But feel like I might struggle today to keep on track, I'm craving carbs and cannot get the thought of pizza off my mind...If I manage to keep on target all day, I may go for it and tell DH that I want to go for pizza for our Friday night out ( he'll really like that, he rarely gets pizza anymore because mostly I shun it)... B - 2 protein balls S - 20 1/2 caf sf/ff cinnamon dulce latte with an extra shot of sf caramel ( thank you Starbucks  ) L - 1 c chicken hot - n- sour soup (homemade) with 2 1/2 oz chicken in the bowl      3/4 c caesar salad S - 4 honey roasted nuts       10 prune bites D - 2 1/2 oz chicken in Lemon-Tarragon sauce       1/4 c rice       1/4 cup peas-n-carrots S - 1 sugar cookie (darn grocery bakery, this is one of those things I'm going to cut out in prep for        plastics)       1 slice nsa banana bread with 2 tbsp sf nutella and added fiber PLUS - 74 oz water/crystal light... Major house cleaning planned for the weekend and maybe a nice ride on the Harley if the good weather holds...Everybody enjoy the day, see ya soon...

Morning! For breakfast I had a protein shake (one scoop of Isopure, an EAS RTD and 2 tbsp. of flax seeds) Snack: EAS RTD Lunch: EAS RTD and a South Beach Protein Bar Snack: Cashews Dinner: Another flax seed protein shake, I am pretty boring, I am just trying to keep away from the carbs I think that is about 1000 calories total. I also had well over 80 ounces of water.

Hi Nicole, Welcome to our posting...EAS RTD is a protein supplement drink right?  Just curious if your regular eating days are protein all gained thru supplements or if you are working a program right now to "get back on track", jump start a loss pr something like that?  I'm going to buy the peanut butter South Beach bar for the 1st time when I shop tonight, heard pretty good reviews on taste and I love p/b... Thanks again for posting

It doesn't sound so bad and if it was prepared at a hospital it should (?) be prep'd in a healthy way...Did you try track in fitday or sparkpeople to see how much it really was?  We all have days where we are limited on the choices or food sources come from, looks like you handled it pretty well and I'm sure you will be back to your normal routine asap, more important to be there for your kids...

Well I went out to a movie and dinner last night and considering that, I actually don't think I did too badly as far as calories go.  It's still way better than my snack attack I had on Tuesday.  Here's how it went... B: 20oz sugar free vanilla nonfat latte S: South Beach Diet breakfast bar L: salad from subway - lettuce, spinach, tomato, onion, banana peppers, mozzarella cheese, and red wine vinegar  S: cinnamon pretzel at the movies (that thing felt like a brick...will never ever get one again, but it was still way less calories than the popcorn I normally get..I'm gonna have to start bringing my own snacks to the movies) D: Qdoba's chicken bowl - fajita peppers, chicken, pico de gallo, green salsa, corn salsa, cheese, sour cream, and lettuce S: small scoop ice cream 1525 calories and 93 grams protein A little high...I am trying to keep my calories around 1200 to 1500...but I know today so far I am doing really well. Dinner and a Movie - that sounds great, need to suggest a date night to the DH...What movie did you see, was it any good?...I always bring my own movie snacks in my purse, cause to me movies mean snackin on candy, so I bring the sf twizlers and sf chocolate singles as my treat, just stuff them in the purse with all the other junk (LOL)...I went to Qdoba's for the 1st time about 2 weeks ago when I was traveling for work, it was very tasty, wanted to try the burrito, it looked so good, but they were piling in alot of rice, which I try hard to avoid in large quantities... Still think you had a good day, so be proud of yourself...

I saw Disturbia which turned out to be pretty good.  I've been so disappointed with the movies I've seen lately, so I was glad it turned out to be a good movie. Yeah, I am definately going to start bringing my own snacks to the movies..I love to snack while watching a movie so it's my best bet to bring something I know won't overload my calories for the day.....As for Qdoba's, I don't go very often but I do like it once in awhile.  I always avoid that rice.  I just can't justify eating it.  But the bowl I got was about 450 calories.  If I had opted for no sour cream or no cheese it would of been far less, but still 450 is pretty good considering it's mexican food and I was eating out.  As for the South Beach diet bars, I get the peanut butter breakfast cereal bars...they are soooooo good.  I love peanut butter and these are awesome.  140 cals and 10 grams protein..can't go wrong.  Kerri

A great day chiming in from our girl Candy in GA...I've been wanting icecream too, but I think they have discontinued the kind i really like to buy at the grocery - blue bunny, sweet freedom, peanutbutter cup, boy was it good, need to do a little research and see why I cannot find it in our stores anymore...
