Hello Everyone, Sorry I'm so late posting this today, had my consult for plastic surgery this morning - BL/BA...Went really well, I've scheduled my surg date and am really excited...Think I did pretty well on my pre-planning for food...Now that I've got a surgery coming up, I think I'm going to cut out all the simple carbs and real sugar again and see if I can drop a few more pounds in anticipation of adding a few during surgery and recovery... B - 1 protein ball S & L (did a combo over a 3 hours mtg where I picked at it the whole time)        1 fried egg        1/2 c grits and cheddar        2 slices bacon        1/4 pancake S - 20 oz sf/ff decaf cinnamon dulce latte ( in case you haven't heard Starbucks added sf caramel        syrup to their menu - had it added to my latte today - Thursday - YUMMY) S - 3 sf peeps       1 sf jello pudding cup D - 2 protein balls       2 oz grilled cheeseburger       5 french fries       3 cucumber wedges w/salt & pepper S - 5 sf lemon cookies

Sheekalala, Are the days like this one because you are just not hungry or forget to eat?  Have you ever analyzed why you have these low intake days to find a way to remedy the problem? Keep on workin' it, we all have bad days

well for 1 thing i am having tummy problems. food hasnt been going down good. today it hurts really bad. I took malox ad it helped for a while but as soon as i started drinking again it hurts really bad again. im getting scoped tomarrow, hopefully they will fix my prob. thanks for all ur help

Sorry to hear about the tummy issues, did you have ulcers or need to have your stoma stretched in the early post surgery days?  Please let me know how the scope turns out, it must be miserable to be feeling icky alot of the time...

Good day ...How to you roast brussel sprouts? Does it take some of the bitterness out of the flavor?

Brussels sprouts are one of the many foods I did not like before WLS. Actually  never tried them until after surgery because I just knew it would not be good. Now I love them...All I do is put them in a bowl and pour 1TB of canola oil over them and put them on a cookie sheet lined with foil and put them in the oven at 425 for 20-30 minutes depending on how big they are. They taste kinda "green" to me anyways but I prefer them this way over any other way, especially boiled. You should give them a whirl... Candy

Hey, I haven't been on in a long time - busy with daughters cheerleading and softball.

Breakfast::  a scoop of unjury protein in 8 oz of organic fat free milk

Snack:  Almonds - non salted - natural

Lunch:  Sushi - 2 pieces of californial roll, 2 pieces of smoked salmon w/o rice

Snack:  Almonds

Dinner:  3 oz of left over steak Diane - yummy! Candy 266/143/160

Hi Candy, Good to hear from you again, life sure can put a crimp in keeping up with the little things...You had a great food day, I love su****oo and will eat the little bit of rice that comes under it (LOL)...
