stomach pain behind navel

I have had the same problem, this pain stops me in my tracks, I have been tested for kink in intestines etc....   No problems there, what it seems to come down to for me is gas pains...  I take a reliever for gas and it will eventually subside, w/out taking anything it cn last for more than 2 hours or so. I had similar pains, but not as severe.  My surgeon asked me if I still had my gallbladder, which I do.  Last week I had a gall bladder ultrasound, and I have gallstones and sometime in the future the gallbladder will have to come out. Do you have your gallbladder?  Did anybody check that out? good luck,

I do still have my gallbladder. I assumed that gallbladder pain was on the right side and back. I will keep an eye on the pain. I have a doctors appt. on Tues. Thanks for the info Vera
