All those temptations and still down 3 lbs, bet that felt weird...As for me thankful that the scale just held steady after a day of insanity...

Hey Girl,  I know you are trying to re-jump a loss, but, remember you got to keep the cals up over 1000 a day or your body will think its starving and not give up the pounds...Have you tried tracking on fitday?  Also a really good post yesterday from Carrie about what her Nut has her doing to get her loss back on track, its interesting and food for thought...

I  am not trying to jump start any weight loss. My dr.s dont want me to loose any more. I dont necesssarily agree with them. to me i look fat when i look in the mirror. but sometimes i just cant eat alot and other days I do better. Im trying to eat  better.healthier. I need to try protien shakes I guess, if I can stomache them. I only weigh 150 if that, wear a size 6. I just need to work on taking better care of myself

I'm sorry, thought I read on another of your posts you were still trying to meet goal...Body image is such a challenge for many, I was struggling a lot with it prior to getting my panni removed last year, now it is much better...I still think I see a larger person in the mirror than my size 4/6 but I no longer think I see a fat person...I think the food choices you are making are very sound, yesterday just didn't add up to very much intake, did a rough estimate for you on fit day, barely cracked 800 cals for the day although total protein was around 66, most of it from the yummy latte ( I love those too and they are an awesome source for protein)...  Anyway, not trying to be judgemental, please don't take it like that, just want to help you and me to eat better and be healthier over all...

I'm just chiming in to say hello - not the least bit enthusiastic about sharing my menu from yesterday, but here goes....... B - 16 oz. black coffee L - 2 squares (homemade) ground turkey pizza S - Chocolate chip cookie  D - Neighborhood Block Party:      1 KFC fried chicken wing      2 T. macaroni & cheese      spoonful of bakes beans      Sugar Cookie      Plain hotdog  (an hour or so later) Lots of water and unsweetened tea throughout the day. Exercise:  450 calories/3.5 miles on the treadmill and hours of yardwork - mowing, weeding, trimming, sweeping, etc.   Hey - probably not too bad after all!!!!  At least the exercise countered the sweets somewhat!!! Hugs! Kristi
