Questions to ask surgeon!

I have my year appt. with my surgeon in a week (it was postponed a month) and I have been trying to come up with valid questions that I can gain clarification. Whenever I go for my appointments I totally blank and remember the questions after the fact so I want to compile a list.  I know I want to ask him about ideal weight and discuss my labs. Anyone else have any burning questions that are essential to ask about a year post-op?

Setting a goal weight and discussing your labs is a good place to start!!   Depending on how close you are to your personal goal, you might want to ask him if he has a recommended maintenance program for when you are at goal weight.  Many of us (especially older post-ops) have been left to fend for ourselves in the maintenance world of weight loss.  Having a plan to follow could be very beneficial! Just my two cents, for what it's worth!!  Hugs! Kristi

Really you have to do that. I just went for my 18 month check up and I sat there without asking anything and  as soon as I left I remembered 3 important questions to ask.  It figures. so write them down. Koukla 338/179
