Maintenance thread
I'm really sorry y'all are having trouble accessing this thread. Being fairly computer illiterate, I can't give any advise on what to do. I am surprised, though, as I was just able to access it myself, so this isn't a universal issue. (unlike mainainance).
This has truly turned out to be the discussion I had hoped for. I can add getting a really bad cold and then sinus infection is great for the weight loss. I surprised myself by losing a couple of pounds this week by taking sudafed. This is only the second cold I've had since surgery, so I didn't know sudafed would do this to me. However, it's not something I would recommend.
But I can recommend this: last year when I was almost at my one year surgiversay, for the first time I found I had not lost weight in the month, but had gained a couple of pounds. It truly scared me. So for the entire month of May, I ate no grains whatsoever, not even the whole grains. Not a bite of wheat, rice, corn, etc., or a potato. I ate only protein and veggies, and a limited amount of fruit. I lost 14 pounds that month, and my weight continued to drop steadily after that. I found how sensitive my body was to grains. Now I will eat grains, but always try to make sure they are whole grains. Those of you struggling with weight you would like to lose might want to try it.
