Anyone have surgery on or around 3-22-06?

Just looking to see if there was anyone out there that had surgery on or about March 22, 2006.  I am in the comparing progress mode right now and can't seem to find anyone.  Especially from Michigan that might have been at Barix in Ypsilanti.  If anyone is out there, let me know how your doing or if you met your goal and what life is like at your year out.

I had my surgery on March 8, 2006 in Rochester Hills, MI.

Hey Melissa, definately not in your neck of the woods, but I had my surgery on 4/10/06.  Started off at 432 two weeks pre-op and as of today I'm at 192, total loss of 240 pounds in one year.  Had my one year follow-up with my surgeon this morning, they were all totally flabergasted at his office.  I hope you are doing well. I can see why they would react that way, you have done absolutely wonderful.  Has it been hard?  I was talking to someone the other day and they said they have such a hard time dieting, but I replied with something like, I don't diet, I eat, I just eat whats good for me now, and not everything in sight. I don't look at my life as a big diet now, I look at it as a way of being healthy and surviving.  Not a diet. Just curious if you amybe think the same way.

   Hi Melissa,     I would like to invite you over to the March 2006 forum.  We have a great bunch of people there.  The postings have slacked off a bit lately, but we would like to have you join us.     I started out at 339 pounds (1st consult, January 13,2006)     Weight day of surgery  300 (March 20, 2006)     Weight now:  180 plus or minus a pound or two.   I had my one year check up this week and the doctor pronounced me healthy with the  exception of the need to up my vitamin B12.      My life has improved greatly.  I hope yours has also.                     Life is great,  Rick
