Well, I was doing some research and stumbled upon some very interesting information that could possibly explain some of our mystery pain many of us are experiencing!http://content.nejm.org/cgi/content/extract/335/10/751?ck=nck This link is to the New England Journal of Medicine. It talks about how anemia effects infamitory bowel!!!! Especially if your Iron levels are as low as 7 or 8! Mine was at 6 the last time I was in the hospital!!!! This could be why I haven't had any pain. I had a transfusion in the hospial and I haven't had pain since. I have kept my levels around 10-11. Boy this would explain volumes!!! What do you guys think????

Toni, that sounds more than reasonable to me.  There are many medical issues affected by other medical issues, and it takes diligent research to find all these things out.  Even the doctors don't always know this stuff, because I'm sure they don't have the time to read everything, too.
