Happy Easter!!!
It is not very spring-like here, 40 degrees, snow on the ground, and another snowstorm for Wed night! And 6 Flags is opening next Saturday, and if they let me in, I will be there, no matter how cold!!
Well, yesterday was pretty good:
B - 1 oz cheese
L - 1/2 cup Wendy's chili with cheese
D - 3/4 can Progresso Hearty Tomato Soup with 1 oz cheese and 4 water crackers
S - 1 oz Colby Jack
I had lots of coffee and fluids, walked about 3 miles and was out and about shopping and stuff, so a good day!
Carrie

Hi Carrie,
You are a crazy girl
to even be thinking about rides at 6 Flags in that kind of cold weather, but more power to you, make sure there's plenty of coffee in the park to keep you warm, or maybe the thrill of the rides will do it for you, LOL...
I was wondering are you at your goal, seems like you should be close if I read correctly you're 6 foot? Was also wondering if you drink any protein drinks to supplement the protein you eat in solid form, and do you count them as fluids or food? Keep coming back to post, see ya soon...

Well, I think I look pretty good, and I feel good. I can buy nice clothes from the regular section of the store, and I am usually a 16 (but I have some suede Avirex pants that are a size 11, so, needless to say, those are my favorite
). It would be nice to be in the one's somewhere, but I feel comfortable where I am, as long as I don't gain. And I fit on all the rides at 6 Flags, which was one of my top goals. So, yes, I consider all of my goals met, and I am content. I get about 1200-1500 calories a day, 100 carbs (gasp) and too much fat, and bout 60 grams protein, so I am doing OK. I have an active lifestyle, work a lot and play raquetball, kickboxing, single mom of 2 kids, and a sizzling hot man to keep and eye on haha. My surgeon said I would be a success at 250, so I have passed his goal. I don't add any protein, never have. I tried it the day I got home and the taste was so putrid I quit. My bloodwork is always good (but I did need 1 B12 shot at 6 months out), so I am OK.
So......to answer your question, I guess I am at my goal!!
Yeah Carrie
Take care....

You have much to be proud of
and it sounds like you have a great grasp of working the plan...I'm so glad when I get replies on this post, so often I wonder about my food day and choices, I have always been a comparison person and I think it helps me have a better understanding of myself and my choices when I see how others are doing...So thanks for posting...

Thanks Kristi!!!
It is nice to hear something positive instead of getting blasted about the carbs on the main board!!! Honestly, maybe I am unique because I am active, I work 70-80 hours a week, and due to my size (at 6' and 230 lbs), I honestly think I need more calories and carbs for energy to get through the day!! Honestly, if I don't have carbs I feel week and dizzy. When I have some cheese and crackers I feel energized to do everything I want to do.
And, I have to say, you look adorable! Congratulations!!

You are too sweet, thanks!
With regards to what you mentioned about 'getting blasted on the main boards...' - you now make about the sixth person I've run in to who has encountered some negativity or criticism on the main board.
I find it interesting that folks are a lot less critical of one another in the smaller forums, but are sure quick to point fingers and criticize out there on the mainland! How sad is that?
And here I thought that we are all here to SUPPORT one another!!!! Color me surprised that people don't share my same sentiments? Hmmm......
I think I will stick with those that treat me as I treat them!!
Hugs!!
Kristi
PS: Let us know when you get your video up and running... I'm also one that had difficulty viewing it. It was stuck in the uploading mode!!
