Please email me privately for the plan.        [email protected]  I'm not smart enough to extract emails from here.  I am clueless on carbs or calories.  Never counted them.  I count protein grams in supplement, sugar g per meal (single digit), size and number of meals.  So, I can't really help with that kind of info.  I'm sorry.  You can ask other long termers what they do with those kinds of numbers if you want?  http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Graduate-OSSG

I'm not much of a liquid protein person ... Can this "Protein Feast" be done with protein bars like "Protein Crunch" bars ... or, is the trick in the fact that you are on liquids? I am not doing anything really wrong ... I just completely stopped losing weight 16 months out & I have no idea why.  I haven't changed anything food/calorie wise, but in January, I lost 6 #s (3 from Christmas gain & 3 new pounds) & that's the last I've lost.  Now, I fluctuate within 5 #s after losing 111 #s but not getting to goal of 140 #s off.  I eat 3 protein bars a day, 2 food snacks based on mainly protein, veges & maybe some fruit (very little white carbs-like, potatos or pasta) & one treat like a NSA fudgecicle.  I drink SF Crystal Lite & tea sweetened with Splenda.  I might snack on some Quaker Soy (protein) Crisps in the afternoon.  My normal calorie intake is 1,000 - 1,200 calories a day. Thanks for any input ... Dawn

Well, the "magic" is in the whey protein itself.  It helps fill one up a bit, especially taken before a meal.  I don't personally count the protein in bars, though I do eat them.  They  become one of my meals.  Whey powders help dampen the appetite just a little. I'd say whatever you're doing is exactly what your body wanted you to do to get where you are.  You'd have to adjust something to lose further. How many times do you eat per day?  How much water, as in water?  What's your vites regimen like?

My current WLS [who is doing my hernia repair but did not do my RnY] is ADAMANTLY opposed to liquid calories.  He wants 3 solid meals per day, no snacks LOL.  HOWEVER, he told me that my weight loss is great and I should 'continue doing what I am doing.'

I follow the Pouch Rules but with one scoop of protein powder in every 32 ounces of water I have per day [I aim for 96 ounces minimum in water/protein supplement].  I don't usually like to eat breakfast so I start my day with 32 ounces of shake, warm [not hot as I read it can destroy the protein].  Sometimes I will eat a solid lunch, sometimes I just go on to the second shake.  I then have a solid 'meal.'  30-60 minutes later I start drinking my 3rd shake [cold, with lots of ice].  My version is really, really watery chocolate, it's not too sweet or thick but it goes down easier [I read it has to do with the pH] than straigh****er.

Anyway, I think as long as you are mindful of the changes you need to make and are eating well and exercising, you will have no problem losing the additional weight.  Good luck!
