I had actually read that a glass wine is okay on occasion, you just can't make it a habit. Maybe one a week, if you can control yourself. A 6 oz. glass of red table wine has 127 calories, 0 fat and 3 carbs, and a 6 oz glass of white wine has 120 calories, 0 fat and 1.42 carbs. Just make sure that it is a dry wine, not a sweet wine.

I like the idea of planning ahead for accountability - so here goes for Friday. B - IF SF vanilla creme hot drink with unflavored protein powder (21 G.)       1 chipotle cheddar cheese stick L - 1 large roasted chicken drumstick, 1 c. slaw with no calorie cole slaw dressing S - IF SF vanilla creme drink - no protein powder added. D - 1 large roasted chicken drumstick, 1 cup salad w/ some shredded cheese (about 2 T) and 1 T french dressing S - (very late - I wor****il 2 AM) 1 South Beach meal replacement bar. (19 g. protein) This amounts to a little over 1000 calories.  I have been working hard at getting back on track, losing the extra carbs and getting enough protein in.  And you are right, at a year out, a glass of wine from time to time is very acceptable, and can be good for you,  especially if it is red wine.
