Its Thursday morning and time to check in - HELLO Everyone!! Wednesday was a terrible eating day for me, got really wrapped up in work and did not pay any attention to getting in my food...Didn't realize I passed my lunch time until 2  hours later, by then it was to late (in my opinion) to each lunch because dinner was just 2 1/2 hours away...Starting fresh today with a recent reminder that its not just abou****ching # of calories but also making sure that the calories come from nutricianally sound choices...This is my new area of focus, so look for tomorrow to be about good choices and please push me when you see I'm not... Wednesdays food: B - sf apple muffin (w/ added fiber)       20 oz decaf sf/ff white chocolate/caramel latte S - medium banana w/ 2 tbsp peanut butter ( mix in flax and fiber) L/S - 1 oz honey roasted cashews          1 lemon shortbread cookie D - 3-4 oz bloody mary pot roast w/ gravy       1/4 cup green beans       1 bite rice with gravy S - 1 protein ball Plus 66 oz water/crystal light

OK Kristi, Your food day looks pretty great to me compared to some of what I have been posting lately, so you've got my curiosity picked, what do you consider "bad" about the day, to many carbs? to much to eat period?...Like I said you look like your making some good choices to me, plenty of carbs and veggies...

Thanks for chiming in...

I appreciate the vote of confidence n my food choices, but after the soft taco and chips    that I just ate at lunch today, my guess is that I won't be chiming in tomorrow!  Too many carbs and higher fat content is what I need to steer clear of to keep my weight in check.  For the most part, I tend to do "okay" with my choices, but I seem to do really well one day, then fall off the wagon the next.  Consistency is a little hard to master for me most of the time.   Keeping a food journal helps, but again, consistency plays a big part in whether I'm diligent about keeping it current! Any suggestions on what works for you (and anyone else!) would be great!! Hugs! Kristi Any suggestions would be helpful!

Mary Jane, Please do not be worried, this post is about helping ourselves and each other, believe me, if you looked at some of the posts I've made over the last week you would not think so badly about your choices...I saw you posted  a commitment to food for Friday...Great idea to plan the day in advance, think it will help you stay on track as long as you can so NO to the snack demon (she seems to live over my shoulder whispering in my ear)...Please keep coming to post with us and best of luck on your continued journey...

I need to get in on this because I have been having a terrible time with food the past few weeks.  So today was a good day - I used my FitDay - and here goes: B - 1 egg veggie omelet, pear S - International Foods SF Vanilla Creme Hot Drink w/ Unflavored Protein (21 g.) L - 1 large roasted chicken drumstick, 2 slices melba toast, 1 wedge laughing cow cheese  D - 3/4 c. shrimp stir fry, 3/4 c. cabbage slaw w/ WF no-cal dressing, SF jello with dollop of coolwhip S - International Foods SF Vanilla Creme Hot Drink w/ Unflavored Protein (21 g.)   Got in my fluids and protein and did not graze.  I also went back to using salad-size plates instead of dinner plates - I always do better with portions when I do.  Thanks for this daily post.  I want it to help keep me honest!
