Hi everyone, I am about 4 years out and am having a very hard time.  I had my first child in december and gained 55lbs, and now i am trying to loose again, but having a terrible time.  I have lost 30lbs so far, but just cannot seem to get down to my lowest or even close.  has  anyone had this problem after being pregnant.  Do you have any suggestions?  I know that it has only been 3 months since I had my son, but I just feel like I didnt go through a life changing event to end up back where I started.  And I always said that I would never let myself get back there, but here I am wondering what I am doing wrong, and where to even start......Keep in mind that before I got prengnant I had gained weight as well.  So in order for me to get back down, i would have to loose another 60lbs.  does anyone have any advice.

Not enough information here.  What is your dietary habits and exercise program?

I do at least 45 minutes of cardio 4 times a week.  Maybe more...just depends.  My eating habits are probably the worst thing....i usually get up and have 2 cups of coffee..then on my way to work i will have 1 cup of cottage cheese with fruit.  then mid morning i will have a protein bar.  lunch is like a boneless skinless chicken breast baked,  with salad.  dinner is a piece of meat with a vegetalbe.  i have really been trying to stay away from bread and carbs cause it is my BIGGEST down fall.  especially when i am pms ing...Now according to this day, it sounds like i am being perfect, however, i am not.  I have a sweet tooth...and will eat a cookie--everything i buy is low sugar or no sugar.  and i drink my water fairly good, however, i do drink about 2 diet pops a day.

Hi... I had a baby 10/05, and kept about 12 lbs from the 24 gained. It may not sound like a lot, but as we all know, weight struggles are weight struggles. I cut way back on portions, almost as if I were starting over from day 1 at surgery. Start with soft foods, then more regular foods. Retrain your brain (again). If that doesn't work, there is NO shame in seeking Weigh****chers, Jenny Craig, etc to help you help yourself, BEFORE you get out of control. You CAN do it...you have walked too far in your journey to turn back now!  Cathy
