Copied from PS Board ~ Brief Update
Hey gang, sorry I haven't updated earlier, today is day 5 and I'm feelin really good. Still lots of swelling going on but I knew that would happen.
Pain has been minimal, I've stayed on top of the drugs for the first 3 days, yesterday I cut back to just as needed and it's doeable.
As for what all took place: I had a brachioplasty with cuts down to my elbows and into the axilla (sp?) to get the side boobs, lol. Breast lift with implants (400 cc and 350cc) and an extended TT with the inverted T (or anchor cut). Dr. Chaney wanted to be sure to get the upper tummy as tight as possible and felt while he was doing the procedure that the T was needed which I told him going in to do I wanted the best results.
I'm super happy with the results so far, can't even imagine what I'll look like once the swelling is gone.
To all of you getting ready it's a trip, the first time I was able to see the results I cried, you just cannot imagine the difference.
Well, better go lie down, I get tried pretty quickly and have been sleeping allot. I'm taking pictures of the progress and will post them later.
I go in tomorrow for my follow up and to hopefully get the last 2 drains out, I'm having very little output (less than 10 cc in a 5-6 hour time frame).
Good Luck to all of you!

Dana came looking just to see if you were up to posting yet. So happy all is going well. Keep resting, you had alot of surgery in one shot., I can't even imagine since my surgeon would only do one procedure at a time...I know what you mean about seeing the results, it all just so amazing and it gives you the justification you have accomplished this feat on the outside anyway, We do have to work hard to mentally stay with it, Congrats sweetie and enjoy your new look. Sending you good thoughts and prayers for speedy recovery.

Dana, you sound so happy I can hardly help but smile. I too would like to get a few things done at once, so as not to have to go under anesthesia more than necessary. You seem to manage these multiple procedures well. May I ask how long the surgery took, and how long did you stay in the hospital?
I hope your recovery continues without complications and with minimal pain.
Paula
Glad to hear that you are doing so well. I truly understand the pain pills and staying on them for a few days. I did the same thing. Yes I only had my breasts done, and it is amazing when I look at the before and after I want to cry because I don't ever remember looking at attention when I was a kid. :)
It feels great to get the drain out also. But I didn't have implants. I had enough tissue to make me around a size B 1/2....my daughter says I am between B and C and I am still swollen in one of them.
