Survery Question, Please Help

Hello Friends... I'm doing a Nutrition class, and Need to run a survery..on food...we know about food... How much do you think you spend on average for a meal...Fix at home For breakfast, Lunch and dinner, what is your budget for one person...a Days worth of food.... If you do a budget, what does it break down to? $15 a day??? $12 a day Second Part....How many times a week do you eat out, any meal, and what do you usually pay...for one meal...you can break this down breakfast lunch and dinner, sine there are differnt menus... Thank You so much for your answers russ

OK.  Fix at home I don't do a budget but it would break down to $1.50 for breakfast at home per day; lunch $3.50 per day; dinner $3.50 per day -- but that's because of how we eat.  For dinner out with my husband 1.5 times a week, we average $35 per person with tip.  I tend not to have breakfast out.  Lunch would average $20.  I live in the NY metro area...

I spend about $2-3 per meal per person to cook at home. I have no budget, I spend whatever it takes. I eat out at least 4 lunches a week, and 2 dinners. Lunch is usually around $5-6 and dinner is about $10. I eat out every Sunday and that meal is usually $25-30. All these figures are for only 1 person out of the family, we currently have 3 at home. Of the 3, my teen son eats junk every day, cheeseburgers, pizza, chichen strips etc. He prefers eating out to home cooking. He spends about $10 a day on his junk.

We usually go out to dinner 1x a week and it runs about $40--there's two of us.  I have a weekly grocery bill of about $100 for two and a baby.  My husband eats lunch out about 3 days a week and spends around $6-7.  Hope this helps!
