My biggest struggle is maintaining, I go up 5 lbs and I freak, but then it comes off and I am better. Such a head game for me. I need to excercise and I don't, very often. So many ask would I do it again and yes in a heartbeat. Rhonda

I still want to reach for those bad comfort foods ~ mostly chocolate.  I struggle with that every day.  But I'm proud I have managed to maintain my goal weight. I hope you are all doing fine, Paula

1.  First name or name you go by on the boards...Robin aka Neorn 2.  Surgery type....RNY 3.  Surgery date....Jan 10, 2006 4.  How far post-op ....13 months and 12 days 5.  Highest weight...269 6.  Day of sugery weigh...Day before I was 265.. 7.  Goal weight...130 8.  Current weight...138-143...depends on what day of the week it is. LOL 9.  Low weight post-op if different than current weight...NA 10.  Biggest struggle as a post-op...emotional eating and sweets. I don't dump and never have. Dang it!!!!!

1.  Carol 2.  Surgery Type:  Lap RNY 3.  Surgery Date: Setpember, 2005 4.  How far post op: 17 months 5.  Pre surgery weight: 285 6.  Day of Surgery Weight: 176 7.  Goal Weight:  Never had specific number but  just wanted to get into normal "BMI" - which would be around the 140 pounds mark. 8.  Current weight: 146 pounds - 6 pounds short of normal "BMI"  for my height (!!!!!) 9.  n/a 10.  Most challenging struggle is making sure to staying on top of things and not giving in to the foods I know are not OK to eat.  Also recognizing and conquering food triggers.  I have come to realize that anything STRESS related makes me mentally and physicall crave certain foods (mostly sweets).  So far so good so I'm happy.  -Carol
