Here goes nothing..... 1. go by Debra M. 2. open RNY, Sapala-Wood micropouch 3.  May 12, 2005 4. over 21 months post-op 5.  highest-351pounds 6. day of surgery- approximately 320 7. goal weight (mine, surgeon didn't give me one) 150 pounds, I am 5'5" 8. current weight-141 9. lowest weight-139.8 10.  biggest struggle is stil the food addiction issues-missing cakes and doughnuts!!!!  how crazy is that, wanting to comfort myself with food in times of stress. 11. biggest accomplishment- I consider it a victory each and every day I put on my workout clothes and exercise here at home to dvd's.  I faithfully do it four times a week, and hate it each time, but I do it.  That is why I am proud of it.  I have osteoarthritis in my knees and shoulder joints, which make the workouts painful sometimes, but I believe the pain would be worse over time without the exercise.  Oh, and my size 8 Levis keep me going.

I love posts like this!! 1.  First name or name you go by on the boards - Skinny inside, because at the time I joined, I felt like a skinny person trapped in my big body. 2.  Surgery type - open rny 3.  Surgery date - 7/27/05 4.  How far post-op - 1 year, 7 months 5.  Highest weight - 282 6.  Day of sugery weight - 282 7.  Goal weight - 150 8.  Current weight - 147 9.  Low weight post-op if different than current weight - 146 10.  Biggest struggle as a post-op - My biggest struggle currently is watching what I eat because even when it seems I'm eating a lot of junk, the scale doesn't punish me (I go from 146 - 148) - I guess I'm still malabsorbing, but I know this will not always be the case.  I have to work on the "mind" issues behind the eating.
