I know I shouldn't drink beer at all due to calories, but I love it and it doesn't make me sick or dump or anything. It doesn't help that DH and many friends are bartenders. Solution: No beer in the house and I bought a bicycle to sit my butt somewhere other than the barstool!

My name is Alice and I had RNY on July 12, 2005. I am almost at my 2 year surgiversary.  My highest weight was about 376. It was right at that weight the day of my surgery. My goal weight is 150.  At present I weigh 248.  My lowest post op was 235.  My sister passed away and after after 4 days  of being in the car and eating out for a week while we were away my weight went back up to 248.  I haven't been able to get the scale to move at all in several months.  I have lost inches though.  My biggest struggle post op is trying to stay away from salty snacks.  If there is a potato chip in the house I still can't seem to leave them alone.  I try to make sure there are none in the house.....then I can't eat them.

1.  JackieBel 2.  Lap-RNY 3.  August 22, 2005 4.  Post-op 23 months 5.  highest 268 lbs. 6.  Day of surgery 261 lbs. 7.  mini-goal 150 lbs. by Labor Day, Goal under 130 lbs. 8. 167 lbs. on July 11 9. lowest post-op 152 lbs. 10.  Biggest struggle is to keep losing.  I never set a definite goal, other than lose 100 lbs.  Once I lost 100 lbs. I pretty much just hoovered there.  I finally got down to 152 lbs., but then slowly have gained 15 lbs. back.  I'm back on track with the Labor Day Challenge.

1.  First name or name you go by on the boards -- Angie 2.  Surgery type -- open RNY 3.  Surgery date --12/03 4.  How far post-op -- 3 1/2 years 5.  Highest weight -- 376 6.  Day of sugery weight -- 343 7.  Goal weight -- 150 8.  Current weight -- 200 9.  Low weight post-op if different than current weight -- 17- 10.  Biggest struggle as a post-op -- grazing and exercise, I really feel good when I exercise and when I get into a regular exercise routine but whenever anything gets in the way I tend to stop going to the gym and then it's months before I start again.  I did get an at work walking partner who also had WLS so I'm back on the walking track.   This is my first time reading this particular board.  I look forward to the post op support available.
