Hi all! I'm Marie, I am 2 years post op (my surger date was  6/16/05 so I'm almost at my 2 year anniversary) - have lurked here since I considered WLS in fall of '04. I had RNY - my highest weight was 225 (I'm 5'1" tall), was 204 on 6/16/05, my goal weight was 130 - I'm at 135 now and have been for a year.  My lowest weight was 129 a year ago May when my mom died and I filed for divorce (that brain surgery stuff... lol!)  My biggest struggle is drinking enough water and staying away from carbs - otherwise I"ve been blessed with a miraculously easy journey and I'd do it again in a heartbeat! Hugs to all on this amazing walk ... Marie Sacramento

Biggest struggle as a post-op: Moved from maine to texas 3 months after surgery--support groups there were not as good(in my opinion) as here--I really liked being 144lbs, it was comfortable and I was happy--but due to stress and me turning back to food instead of doing what I should be doing I have gained 16 lbs. since Jan. of this year--we moved back to maine and hope that I can get involved in a support group---I would like to maintain at around 144 and not gain any more weight
