Hi I'm Jennifer (Jenn).  This is my first time checking out this forum.   -I had proximal RNY in April 2004, so I'm a little over 3yrs post op. -My highest wt was 282. -Day of surgery was 276 -Goal weight was/is 160. -Current wt is 182. -Lowest post op wt was 159 (at  18-20 mos. post op) -Biggest struggle as a 3 yr post op, well I'd have to say exercising regularly and eating small regular meals.  I typically exercise 2x wk (when I should do at least 4) and on days I work, I tend to wait until I'm starving at dinner time to eat.

Hi! I had RNY bypass 14 months post op Highest wt / day of surgery wt 260 goal wt 140 current wt 136-140 Biggest struggle is with iron.  I've recently had a bone marrow biopsy due to having severe anemia despite taking iron pills and it said I had NO iron in my marrow!  So I now have to start taking iron thru an IV hopefully only once yearly. Other struggle is grazing.  But as long as I don't gain I'm ok! Good luck everyone out there and GOD BLESS

Sweet Child Type: Lap-Band Surgery Date: 6/6/06 How far post-op: ONE YEAR BABY !!!! Highest weight: 230 Day of surgery weight: 230 Goal weight: 150 (mine) Current weight: 171 Lowest weight: 171 Biggest Struggle: My biggest struggle is pacing myself when eating. I end up throwing up from stuffing when I still eat like a "fat girl." And my eyes are still bigger than my new stomache, so I waste a lot of food.....A good thing for the scale. Good Luck to all the newbies and lots of continued luck to the WLS members of  '06 TTFN Sweet Child
