Hi Kathy, From a "Professional Lurker"; who has been a member since 1999 and can count on one hand the number of times I responded to a post.. My name is Char and I had RNY almost 7 years ago on August 28, 2000.  My highest weight was was 240 and my weight on the day of surgery was 232.  My goal weight was 150 but my lowest weight was 139.  My weight had climbed back up to 181 pounds 2 years ago.  I was very discouraged but continued to lurk the boards where I find encouragement to keep up the lifestyle changes required to make my journey a success. I decided that I was not going to "diet' again. I joined Curves and was able to lose 11 pounds to my current weight of 170 which I have pretty much maintained.  My biggest struggle is trying to cut down on the grazing and making better food choices. I am trying to use a common sense approach when making food choices and being consistent with the exercise.  Knowing that I can come and lurk on the boards for encouragement has made me believe that I can get back to my goal weight of 150 pounds.   Best Wishes, Char S
