1.  My name is Samar 2.  Roux-En-Y 3.  My surgery date September 06, 2002 4. I am  4 years and 7 months post op 5.  376lbs was my highest weight 6.  376lbs day of surgery 7.  Goal weight is somthing I still haven't reached yet, but maybe after my buttlift :) 8.  I currently weigh 168 9.  Low weight post-op was 159. 10.  Biggest struggle as a post-op is stopping my head hunger. Sometimes feeling like I can eat like I did post-op...getting sick and realizing I can't. And then doing the same thing over again even though I know I shouldn't.

10. Biggest struggle as a post-op - There are many times that I still don't see myself in the mirror that the scale sees me or my clothes see me. I refer to myself as an obese person in a skinny body. But that is true as I know I will never be fully recovered from this disease, just like an alchoholic who is sober but never recovered. My brain still has to catch up with my body. I stay focused every day in order never to go back, but just move forward.

Round 2 - vertical thigh lift, arm lift, and augmentation.

10. Biggest struggle as a post-op: Gall bladder and herniated twisted bowel. Having a herniated twisted bowel is the worst ever!

I've had a great experence with this. Not many complications, only the one's listed above. Aside from the normal things that happen to most of us after wls things have never been better.
