I’m a lurker. Was so afraid I was the only one going through the battle with food after WLS. Glad to see I’m not alone.

Day of surgery weight 291 7. Goal weight 145 8. Current weight 157, I bounce between 156 and 158. 9. Low weight post-op if different than current weight. Not there yet. 10. Biggest struggle as a post-op I find food central to my day again. I think part of it is stress and some boredom at work. I am so afraid of gaining the weight back as some friends I know who had the surgery have done. I joined Curves for exercise but then started working 12 hour days and haven’t been able to get back.

10. My biggest struggle would have to be walking past a sale at Kohl's, Dillards, Penny's, etc. Seriously, my biggest struggle when I was first post-op was finding a protein shake I liked. Now my biggest struggle is trying to get the last 30 pounds off. I want to do that before my 2 year mark.
