Janet, Everyone has given such good advice. I just wanted you to know you are not alone. I have gained back some weight too. I think I am my own worst enemy. I still have so many fears. We have failed so many times and this gives us fears. I think I sabatoge myself when I get close to a goal. I am kind of stuck.. I fear losing weight for I was obese since childhood and I fear going back to the weight I was before surgery. I go to many support groups. Most of them have people so happy for they are early out and losing so good or they have met their goal. If the truth be known there is so many of us still struggling. This was no easy way out and if we had an eating disorder before we had surgery we will most likely have it after surgery.  Please Please go to a support group. You just might help someone and help yourself too. Get out of the house one way or another. One thing that might help you at your desk is frozen grapes or sugar free hard candy. Always have water handy. Sometimes we think we are hungry and really we are just thrirsty. Always remember, Protein, water and exercize. You have lost the battle but you haven't lost the war. You still have the tool ,you just have to learn over to use it. Please feel free to email me  at [email protected] and I will give you my phone number and call you if you want me to. One thing I can't do is eat and talk on the phone at the same time. See you lighter. Joanne

Hey Anna! I'm in agreement with EVERYONE!  Great advice to follow!! I'm also a snacker when I am bored - I keep raw almonds in my desk at work.  A handful of those when I'm really bored will keep me out of the breakroom in search of something bad.  In addition, I am CONSTANTLY drinking something - mainly water, but also Crystal Lite, coffe, etc.  Anything to keep my mind off food!! A good ready-made protein drink is AdvantEdge Carb Control protein drink (chocolate is the best!) - available at Wal-Mart and most grocery stores, although Wal-Mart is the cheapest I've found.  Good to keep on hand for a snack or a meal supplement. Jus****ch your snack/drink choices - anything with too many carbs will trigger your appetite and sabatoge your great efforts! Good luck! Hugs! Kristi
