3 PS Consults Scheduled

I have three consultations scheduled with three different plastic suregeons. (Two in March, one in April) Everything will all depend though on my husband's job. The insurance that he has now will cover any PS IF the doctors deem it a medical neccesity. But, he is now in the process of finding a different job, so it is all in the Good Lord's Hands as to what insurance we will end up with!!! I can't believe how excited I am about having PS! Until my legs get done, I won't be able to even wear crop pants because of the sagging skin. Thanks for allowing me to share! God bless! Cindy 465/189/150 -276 pounds

Who are you consulting with.  I had my 1st consult with Dr. Grasee in Carmel, I really liked her she was with Dr. turkle but left and is with Dr. Bergman and Laskin now.  My 2nd consult is next week and its with Dr. Severinac in Ft. Wayne.  A lady at my church went to him for a TT and just loved him.  She said he is an artist, and a very strong christian.  He prayed with her before they started.  She is more than happy.  I was going to schedule with Dr. Grasee, but I will wait and see about  Dr. Severinac , I'm really excited to see him.  I just want to feel a strong connection to my PS as their changing so much.  I felt that with Dr. Grasee,  but  I would love to be able to stay in Ft. Eayne instead of driving all the way to Indy.  I have had a BR  with Dr. Shambaugh several years ago in Summit's group and although he did an ok job, I have dog ears on the sides, I just didn't connect with him.  Sarah

Sarah, I have my first consult with Dr. Grasee on March 6th; my second consult is on March 14th with Dr. Randolph at Summit PS in Ft. Wayne. Then my third consult is with Dr. Chris Jones (my surgeon's husband) on April 17th. What is a BR? Is Dr. Severinac with Summit in Ft. Wayne? He sounds wonderful! It would be great to be able to stay in Ft. Wayne insted of travelig to Carmel, but I really want someone experienced with WLS patients. All of my PS will depend on my husband's job at the time. If he has a different one before March 6th then I won't be able to go to see Dr. Grassee. I'm just trusting that it will all be in God's Capable Hands for it to be in His timing and with whom, if at all!  I read some of your profile! You have a wonderful testimony, Sarah! Good for you!   Hi Cindy! I just wanted to introduce myself.  My name is Liz, I go by Lizzie B and usually just post on the Michigan Board.  I had open RNY on 7/11/05 and came to visit the Grad Board just out of curiosity...for some reason, God led me directly to your posts.  What a blessing you are!  I've been reading through and have just found so much encouragement and faith and gentleness in your posts.  Thank you so much for being who you are in Christ, He shines through you.

My highest weight was 282, and when I had my surgery I had found a 2 year resting spot at 260.  I've been so thankful to the Lord for letting me have this surgery, and for accomplishing His healing in me through it.  I was able to get just below my goal weight of 130 by October 2006 and had my plastic surgery on Dec. 7, 2006.  I seem to have settled again at about 127, which I'm very happy with.  I'm about the same heighth as you, but everyone is built differently, and I carry my weight ALL OVER !   So that's about me in a nutshell...I would really love to get to know you and have you as friend.
