Hello! Let me introduce myself...

Hi, grads! I kind of forgot that there was a grad board, and seeing as I am now 19 months out from my lap RNY, I thought I might drop in here and see what's up! My surgery was great...perfect recovery...I'm about 15 pounds from my surgeon's goal weight, but VERY HAPPY with my current weight and clothing size (8/10). I am single... almost 51... live in Long Beach, CA.... high school teacher...Christian... computer geek... love to read... have two dogs (the BEST dogs, of course)... It is a cool, and rainy day here in SoCal... and I'm just loving being home...doing some laundry...listening to the dogs snore... and seeing who is out there in WLS gradland.... Lori

Hi to the both of you! I'm pretty new here too...about two or three weeks now. Love this new board! My daughter lives in LA...going to UCLA for her masters, but was living in San Luis Obispo for a year prior to that. But from being from little ol' Prudenville, Michigan, it's a pretty big city for her! She loved SLO, but she said for a place that has sooooo many people in it, LA is the most "lonely" place she's ever lived. How far is Long Beach from LA? Just wondering.... Well, welcome to the Board!!!!! Theresa
