Almost 5 yrs post-op
Hello there-
I would like to introduce myself. My name is Jamie, I just turned 35 & 2-26-06 was my surgery. I also had an abdominoplasty 4-9-03. I was 297 at starting weight & went down to 150. I thought I was too skinny, I liked 175-185 just fine, I was comfortable there. I have been overweight my whole life. When I was 12, I weighed 175.
I just had my one & only baby 5-22-06, his name is Hunter. I now weigh 230. YIKES!! Time to get back on that wagon & get some support to get back down there!!!
I will be getting married this summer also.

YUP, I have fallen back into some of my pre-surgery BAD HABITS. I am a ""Routine Person"" When I have a routine, it is easier for me. Doing protein, and LOTS of water & exercise. I need to get back to work full-time, permanant. I have totally enjoyed being at home with Hunter, but I have sat on my butt, being home 24/7, and of course the winter weather too. He is almost 9 months, time for mommy to go back 2 work. I am filling in here thru the end of next week, then I will be on the job hunt again.

Will I ever figure this out??
OK, this new stuff on the site has me confused!! Gonna take a while to get used to it again!!!!!!
HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!!!!! I hope you are feeling a little better.
I just found out today the I will not be done here at work friday, I will be here for at least another 4 weeks. (this does not hurt my feelings any!!!!!)

Thank you for posting your message. I very rarely post on this site - quite honestly I have not been frequently visiting this site for a long time. But this really hit home, and I wanted you to know that you are not alone.
I'm almost 5 years out and having trouble with gaining weight also after having 2 kids. Maybe we can both support each other to get back on track. I'm starting step by step - tracking what I eat and tracking my food intake (I use sparkpeople.com). It helps.
Good luck & congrats on the upcoming wedding!
