Hey all, New to this board, but hoping someone can give me some motivation and or suggestions. I have been working out the regular. Up the cardio to 60-75 minutes and still weight training. I am really trying to get off these last 40lbs and I am so stuck. I decided to restrict my carbs for the next two weeks. Any suggestions to help me break this plateau would be appreciated.

Hey There! Not sure what you eat on a daily basis, but with the exercise you are doing it is VERY possible that you are not eating enough and your body is holding on to what fat is has.....You can also try the plateau buster diet as well. Be sure to get in the 60+g's of protein and 64+oz water, daily! Good Luck MOM

I was eating too many carbs, I am not in denial, but since being on the restriction carbs stay between 20-60g a day. Protein from 80-100 and if I do less than 100oz of water a day its a mircale!!! Thanks for the response! Do you have the plateau buster diet?

Here it is.. Best of luck. Do this for 10 days to break a plateau #1 - Drink 2 quarts of water a day #2 - You must have 45 grams of protein supplement and all your vitamins/minerals supplements each day #3 - You may consume up to 3 oz of the following high protein foods, 5x a day beef pork chicken turkey lamb fish eggs low fat cheese cottage cheese plain yogurt or artificially sweetened peanut butter beans/legumes You may also have: sugar free popsicles tea or coffee sugar free soda sugar free Jell-O broths/bouillon crystal light drinks If it's not on the list, you can't have it for 10 days!!!!

I feel your pain. I still need 2 lose 50-60 pounds and I am having major issues. I am getting ready to hit the plateau buster diet and then goin to hit a protein shake for breakfast and lunch the have a pretty much regular dinner and see how it goes. I need a major kick in the butt! I need to drink more water, more protein, workout and just eat better all around. I fight w/myself every day. I am sooo frustrated how easy the first 80 came off in 6 months and hardly none since then. Blessings Robin RNYGB 10/28/05 309/292/229 my goal NO more than 170
