If you can't eat Solid food then how can you keep you blood sugar up

Okay so i am three years post op this Feb 24. I had Rny Feb 24,2004 I have had some major problems still can't eat solid food but have gotten my weight back up to a safer level I was 111...my elbows were larger then my upper arms...my knees were bigger then my thighs...it was scary.. I can drink liquids but have some serious pain if i eat... anything solid. Cream of Wheat hurts....geeze My question is this since all of this i am so hypoglycemic (sp?) My blood sugar gets as low as 28 I have to test four times a day. I start to get weak feeling, sweat, and everything turns bright white...I can't see so I know a spell is coming on fast and I had better do something quick...I have rebound some wieght I am back to 150 but that is alot of milkshakes, and drinking my protein shakes 7 times a day the problems is that my sugar will come up but then plummet fast because I can't eat normal. I wish I could eat a spiniach salad....yuummm with avacado and this balsamic vingerette....oh sorry day dreaming again. Anyone out there with pain with eating...if it stays down? I have to take anti nausea pills daily, and well laxitives and stool softeners as that doesnt' happen but every 14-17 days...i drink a ton of water everyday. I have had 8 surgeris and still have found nothing..i am ready to give up...then I think what if this is all in my head because I am afraid of "eating" out my pouch? :crazy: but then I try to eat something solid and with in an hour or two I am on the floor writhing in pain in tears...for about four to six hours before it settles down to a dull ache instead of the intense stabbing pain...I know again i ramble ...part of it has to be the fatige...i swear :bed: ( that is my story and I am sticking to it) ha ha If anyone has any wisdom to depart with or know of any other test I shoudl ask for please let me know I have had my gall bladder removed, I have had a Huge ulcer caterized and completed almost ayear of protonix so it is now healed (the entire one wall of my pouch) I had a small partial blockage in where they attached the small intestine to the pouch that was fixed and that isn't it, I had two hernia repairs made the the large intestine ...so I am having a small bowel follow through this friday....but if there is something else to ask for i am all ears...I have had CT scans, MRI's Ultra sounds and a exploritory surgery (but that was on the outside of my intestine) so like I said let me know....i am willing to try anything..

Please dont take this the wrong way but this is the first thing that poped into my head and especially since they cant find anything wrong.....could it be gas pains? I know that sounds silly but I will tell you that I personally have a low threshold for pain and when I have had gas it hurts worse than anything I have ever felt. I had several trips to the ER before journalling my food and figuring out that gas could be a cause. I take gas ex regularly because I am so afraid of that pain. I do not eat any foods that normally cause gas....NONE!!! I sure hope whatever is causing you pain stops. Maybe try gas x before yu eat something...might help but certainly shouldnt hurt.
