PMS'ing=Struggling
Oh gosh Tracy this sound so like me. I have those days myself PMS then just stress. In fact I'm really trying hard to stop smoking and so far so good (I have to quit to have PS) but in place of smoking I find myself "looking and giving in" to crunch which is so unlike me. Give me chocolate normally, not chips and crackers. I have to get a handle on this.
I'm almost afraid to get on the scale, although it was forgiving this morning the past 3 days have been some of the worse eating grazing I've had since surgery......I am going tonight to plan my food the next couple of days and add in protein shakes to supplement and hopefully stave off the grazing.
Keep your chin up, we are human, not perfect but if we continue to work on it, well be fine.
Hugs,
Dana
Dana, Congrats to you on kicking the smoking habit!!! That's awesome!!!! I know what you mean about being "afraid" to step on the scale, but I'm still going to do it tomorrow morning. I know I'll probably hate what I see, but maybe that will motivate me to get it together tomorrow no matter how bad I'm craving crap!!!!! Thanks for being there for me!!!!!
Tracy
Tracy! Have you tried eating some shampoo?
I eat chocolate during that time too! It's hard to come off of it too! Last month, after I depleted my stores, my husband came to me and said, "Va NESS a! You have chocolate hidden all over this house!" I said, "I do? Did you find some? Where is it - I am DYING here!" LOL Sure enough, he produced a bag that I had "lost!" LOL I have to hide my chocolate for no other reason than I have three girls who LOVE chocolate. If I don't have my own stash, there is none for me to eat! LOL
For my last PMS stunt, I have eaten 8 bags (yes BAGS) of chocolate in 14 days!!!! It started with PMS and -- well -- it hasn't stopped! Anemia can cause chocolate cravings and I suspect that is my problem of late - the PMS topped with the Anemia. So, looking at this last bag that was almost finished, I decided NO MORE! My husband brought me home a bag of Resees (my favorite)!!! He justed by to tell me that the baby insisted I have some chocolate! LOL Don't believe him -- he's been trying to put some pounds on me for a while now!
Hang in there, Tracy! You will be FINE! You are aware and never let it go "too far." I know it's ironic to want something so badly like that when we don't feel good -- and while it's great in the moment then it makes us feel worse so we just grab more to make us feel better but then we just feel worse -- vicious cycle. No fears though -- this WILL be over -- until next month! LOL
I hope you feel better!!!!!
Hugs,
Vanessa
PS I am going to eat this bag of chocolate TONIGHT and detox starting tomorrow! OMG! I am going to have such a headache! LOL
Tracy
I hope today is a better day for you. I have faith you will get thru it especially since you have been my biggest inspiration to stay on track...probably because we are both tall redheads or maybe its your tiny hiney

Hugs

I am struggling with the same thing this week. This is actually the week before aunt flo arrives which is the hardest for me, I'll be fine next week. All I want to do is eat and it's not that I'm actually hungry either, very annoying. Right now I'm chewing the heck out of some sugarless gum trying to fight off the munchy monster, I think bedtime may come early tonight.
Hang in there,
Candy
