Long Gone...Have Not Forgotten!
Haven't posted for a while...ever since the new, better than ever, badder than bad format hit the grad board. For now, I will accept that the format is here to stay...and I am too.
Now nearly 5.5 years post op. Still successful. At the same time finding ways to visit the "dark side." Testing the tools that have helped me maintain for years. I have watched the fat monster lurk outside my door for years...recently I let the beast in. Slowly, sweetly, creeping up on me, rearing its ugliness on my scale, and ultimately attaching itself to my ass and thighs!
And so it is, that I find...life marches on. I am back on the grad board because you have all helped me to realize what it takes to be successful. I know what it feels like, I know what it looks like. Mostly I know that it means making a commitment every minute of every day, and taking responsibility for both success and challenges.
For now, thanks for letting me back in the club...I promise to be a loyal member of the board, to be kind in word and deed, to try to quell my inner ass kicker (unless I am aiming at me), and to thrive, flourish, and grow in a caring community of grads.
