Lower body lift....results

I was just wondering for those of you who have had a lower body lift, roughly how long was it before you saw any difference (I mean size wise). I'm 2 weeks post op, and very swollen can barely fit into my size 8 pants. I can see I am narrower and have a flat tummy. I just can't wait for all this swelling to go down. Thanks, donna

Hi Donna, i had a tumor removed from my abdomen and a tummy tuck done 3 weeks ago and i am still swollen. IT has gone down alot however i am still swollen and still feel more comfy in my sweats so far. It takes a couple of months to get back to whre you belong i believe that is what i have been told. LisaMarie , Did you know you had the tumor when they went in to do the TT? I have a hernia that will be repaired at the same time as the TT... Here is to your smooth recovery . Natalie

Hi Natalie, yes the reason for my surgery was to remove the tumor, the bonus was the tt. Due to where the tumor was located and the debth of it reconstruction was needed. So a benign tumor turned into a blessing. THanks for the well wishes. LisaMarie

Donna had my tummy tuck/butt lift in June and I didn't try anything in different sizes since I was at my goal weight...however after I was allowed to go back to my pilates reformer I started wearing those lyra outfits I would have dared before plastic...they were in my drawer from before I gained in 2001, a small too! Gave me a smile then in Aug around my birthday I wanted a new pair of jeans..nevr been a jeans galm I dress very classic and preferref a warp dress to a jean/blouse etc soI have a few pr all eights toooooo big on me....everything was so expensive so I decided to have them custom made....check it out....I was fine in 8 before plastics and howdy doowdy I am now a 2./4 no jeans were looking perfect and your know us gals need firm, great fiitting jeans that can be custom made to fiit you exactly go to QVC look up PERSONIFY answer the questions, when they arrive they are sheer perfection out of the oackage for a mear 49. Donna how long has it been since surgery? At three weeks I was slightly swollen red and hot to touch below belley button for 3 weeks where they removed the front drains...should have stayed in a little longer I suppose.When I had the rear drains removed no swelling at all. By 7 weeks out I was orderng my new jeans after I tried all the designers jeans on and got ther secrets and designed my own pair. I was down from an 8 to a 2 or 4 in most thing. Keep in touch so we know now how everything well...curisous to know if you are happy with surgery and your new look...,I can say one thing ....LOVE LOVE LOVE it is what you will be saying.

Mirabelle - I'm going on 3 weeks out. My doctor told me it cam take anywhere from 3 months to one year to see the results. I just can't wait to see the results. I'm at goal, actually I'm about 20 pounds under (my body seems to have settled at 143-145), so I'm not looking to lose anymore weight. I just can't wait to shop for a nice outfit !!!
