? Slim Mints ?
Carlita, Pam or anyone that has tried this product~I was in walmart today and noticed the Slim Mints then remembered reading about it in Carlita's "Fierce Cravings" post so I bought some. They have a weird taste, well I guess not what I was expecting~I thought they'd be REALLY minty, but they kinda taste like shampoo a little bit to me, LOL! Not bad, just a different taste. Anyway, when I was checking out the little thing popped up on the register "verify at least 18yrs old" so I asked the lady what that was about. She said she wasn't sure for this particular product why that came up, but there must be something in them that caused that message to appear. In reading the info on the back I didn't see anything bad? They have splenda, green tea and Chromium Picolinate~all it says about Chromium Picolinate is that its a trace mineral that helps in metabolising carbs, fats and proteins. I'm going to have to do some checking online to see if I can find out any more info on this mineral, but if anyone has any info they can share that would be great!

LOL, don't feel bad!!!!! They're not a bad taste, just different than I expected b/c I guess I thought they'd be like Altoid's Minty, LOL!! I did some online research and it stated that too much Chromium Picolinate could be bad for you and that in the US there is not a deficiency in this mineral. I don't think the mints would give us so much as to be unsafe so I'm going to give them a try!!! It did say that they don't help with actual "weightloss", but can help to curb the appetite so that sounds good to me!! Thanks again for recommending them and I'll let you know if they help with the daily cravings!!!!
