New Cookbook??

I see on Amazon.com there is a new WLS cookbook: 'Recipes for Life After Weight-Loss Surgery: Delicious Dishes for Nourishing the New You', by Margaret Furtado, MS, RD, LD-N and Lynette Schultz. Has anyone purchased this book or heard anything about it? I'm thinking about getting it but was wondering if anyone else has it. Tracy A.

Hi Tracy, I have heard of the book and saw it online, but have not bought it. The reason is becasue I want to write one of my own!! But I guess I should check out potential competition, huh? Hi, I am Laura, I am almost 2 yrs out. From 264 to 140. I just completed culinary school to become a chef just to get the knowledge to write a book like that! The book has gotten decent reviews, I hope it is good. If you happen to buy it, let us know if the recipes aere any good. Just wanted to let you know I had heard of it. Have you used any of Susan Maria's recipe's? I bought her book one week out of surgery and I cannot find it to save my life!! Take care, Laura

I ordered the cookbook from Amazon so once it gets here I'll come back out and let you know about it. How exciting that you are planning to write your own cookbook! I'd be interested in purchasing a copy once you have it published. Keep us posted on that. Also thanks for the tip about Susan Maria's recipe's I'll have to check those out too. Tracy A.
