Just sent here!
Hi everyone. This is my first time here to this board. I was sent by ALberto. I usually frequent the NY boards but was looking for a little more.
I had my surgery on Halloween 2005 and have lost 85 pounds. I am doing well. I have reached my surgeons goal. However i would like to loose another 10 pounds. IF i dont thats ok too. Just worry as i read alot of posts about people slowely gaining weight back and i dont want that to happen. I am looking forward to getting you know you guys here on this board.

Welcome Lisa Marie! Sounds like things are going well for you! If you stick with your plan, exercise and continue with support from other wls patients you'll be fine! It gets so much easier to eat crappy the farther out that we get, but we just have to try to stay focused on all of the good things we have learned~at least on most days!!!! Hope to see you around here often!!!

Hi LisaMarie, glad you found us!! Congrats on reaching your surgeon's goal. Just keep your good habits, protein first, lots of water, exercise, and you'll do fine. I personally weigh myself every day so the weight won't creep up on me, others weigh weekly.
Just stay here with us, we'll help you to stay on track! Don't be a stranger!
Hugs,
Connie

Hi LisaMarie....welcome and congrats on that 85 lb loss. I am back on the losing train. It took a little while. Old habits are too easy to get settled in and very hard to kick out. I am still working it and that is a good thing. I think even with a small gain its easy for us just to say I give up....but if we are persistent and look at things in our microscope of life we can find the way to get back on track.
