soup??
The concern with soup for a RNY'er is that it won't stay in your pouch, and therefore won't trigger the saiety that says you're full.....so you're more likely to be hungry faster and in the end, eat more calories than if you hadn't had it.
I'm a DS'er, so that's not a concern for me, but I too love soup. I eat soup nearly every day for lunch - vegetable beef, chicken enchilada soup, chili, chicken pot pie, Annie's Organic Lentil or Minestrone. I like that it gives me extra hydration, and I choose my soups by protein content so I know I'm getting a decent portion of protein. Chili is especially high in protein - nearly 20g a serving in the brand I buy, and I'm at a point now, where I can eat two servings over the course of an hour or so. That's half my protein for the day!

Soup make my stomach make lots of noise! It just grumbles and whines and I hate that!..LOL
I like meat! It lasts in my tummy for a long, long time! I get hungry after soup, too fast!
