my name is Linda, i am 52 years old. had gastic bypass surgery 3 years ago. i am now going through menopause. my doctor has asked if i wanted hormone pills like Prempro. has anyone taken these pills and gain weight because of them?

Linda, I am 44 years old and am 2 years out from gastric bypass. My gynnie put me on Prempro in July , so I've been on for 6 months with NO problems. No gain at all. I feel so much better. No more hot flashes or night sweats. It has been worth it. I was really scared to start them also, for fear of weight gain. Discuss it with your doctor before you decide. Rhonda

Linda, I am also 3 years out and i just recently had a hysterectomy. I just started taking Ejuniva and so far no weight gain yet. It hasnt even worked on the hot flashes yet so I will keep you posted. Sorry I couldnt be more help.
