Wow does time fly be quickly! I can't believe that 2yrs ago today I was having wls. So much has changed in the last 2yrs~I'm less than half of my old self after losing 178lbs, I have more self confidence and self worth, I feel healthy and strong, I am proud of myself again. I was so afraid to have wls~I can still feel the fear I had inside of me while waiting to go into surgery~it was overwhelming. I also remember being SO happy that I woke up after surgery! I remember how difficult it was to take those short walks down the hospital hallway, how hard it was to breathe into the spirometer, how painful it was to get up out of bed......But it was ALL worth it in the end! Now I can do 5miles with ease, run upstairs without getting out of breath, etc. These days my I'm maintaining. Maintenance mode is a little scary b/c I've never been good at it in the past, but I know in my head that I now have a tool that can help me to be successful in the long run as long as I chose to use it! I still focus on food, but in good ways now~making sure I get my protein in, eating in moderation, drinking water, taking vitamins~all to fuel my body instead of poisoning it like in the past. Sometimes I still want to cry for all of the time I feel like I lost by being MO, but I don't dwell there long b/c I am so happy now that I'm free of obesity!!!!!!!! Tracy B 328/150 5'9"

You have done absolutely so well with your tool. I read where you have lost almost 200lbs and that is such an inspiration for me because I want to lose 150lbs, and seeing you post the wt. loss makes me know it is "do-able". I too can remember that feeling before my surgery, it is very weird emotion,,being that close to possible problems post op but the choice to stay like you are is intolerable. Good for you girlfriend!!~~

Happy Anniversary Tracy, wow where has the time gone? My 2 year is approaching fast and I've been thinking about the time from my surgery, it just doesn't seem like it's been 2 years. You have done marvelously, I'm so proud of you and it's been such a joy watching your transformation and being able to inneract with you these past 2 years. Again congratulations, continued success remains at your fingertips. Hugs, Dana

Happy Surgi-versary, Tracy!!!! Two years out and look how far your've come! You've done a phenomenal job! And the coolest part? You remember where you came from. I don't ever want to let go of that. I hope in another year from now, I can be just as much of a success as you are! Congrats, again. Maria W.
