Just want to share my excitment in my "graduation" from my surgery, which was one year ago on December 16, 05. I went from 230lb to 122 and sizes 18 - 22 to now sizes 2 - 6, it's amazing, not to mention expensive though!! As a self paying patient, my husband is beginning to feel that my clothing expenses is more than the surgery!! I want to congratulate all of my fellow grads out there and wish u all the best of luck for another successful year, and success for life. Stay focused everyone! Joanne

Hi Joanne, congratulations on a successful year, welcome to the grad board. I can vouch for the expense myself, I self-paid for my surgery without any regrets and wish I had kept every receipt for new clothes, shoes, jewelry I've bought, but hey it's been fun . Welcome Aboard! Dana

Congratulations Joanne and welcome to the grads. Now the real hard work starts maintaining and moderate exercise. I don't have a problem but with it but reading this board today I can't imagine what possesses people to think they can just start eating anything and gaining weight back without feeling responsible. I on the other hand see 2 lbs and watch like a hawk and make sure I get rid of it. It's just such a great feeling being focused and responsible for my health. Good luck and keep us posted.
