SURVEY TO GET BACK ON TRACK
Ok who has had the surgery and needs some inspiration to get back on track? Gained back some weight, been lacking in exerciase, emotional issues knocking you down, bad eating habits? All of the above or maybe just one or two issues? Well I would love to hear from you and help each other get back on track. After all we have come a really long way not just to fall back the way we were!
If you have a positive attitude and want to be inspired and inspire others then lets form a common bond and turn it positive.
We can do it!!!
I am home today with a sick child and have not been on here in over a year and I really have missed this site.
Sounds like you are I are living the same life. lol I used to be on here daily and then life got in the way and now it's been over a year. I've gained back a bit of what I lost and am not happy about it at all. I stopped sticking close to my food guidelines and have now gotten into the habit of eating things that are not even close to being good for me. I haven't exercised in at least 10 months and haven't really taken my vitamins and such like I should have been since then either. So as of yesterday I've started back on my right track. I've dusted off the exercise bike and put new batteries in it and bought some DVDs to entertain myself while I'm on it. Now if I could just get over the caffiene withdrawal headache........I'd started drinking Mt Dew Code Red daily. Started eating those nasty Flintstones Complete vitamins again. There has got to be a way to make those things taste better. Having a diet partner is great. Someone to pick you up when you fall down. I'm pretty much doing this on my own since most of the people I know have either never really gained anything back or they just don't care and eat whatever they like. So if you need someone I'm here. Wishing you luck.
I am in the same boat as all of you. Except I have't taken that step to change anything yet! Where do you get the will power? I know I just need to get up earlier and exercise, stop the coffee and knock off the wine, bread and potatoes. But do I do it? No.
If you all can help me get motivated - I would be forever grateful.

I used be on this site several times a day. It's been almost 4 years for me. I lost 150 (started at 320) had a baby 2 years ago (left the hospital 10 pounds lighter) and was on my way to a size 14 (struggled with a 26). Then I started gainging and now I'm pushing an 18, squeezing into a 16. It's very depressing. and my husband and I have a trip planned to Las Vegas next month. I would really like to be able to fit into my size 16 by the time we leave. It would mean losing 10-15 pound by the 8th of Feb. Is that doable? I'm going to have to start making some changes. But it's been so long since I've followed any plan or exercise or vitamins I can't even remember what I shoud be doing! :)
I had my surgery in July 2003. At one point I had lost 100 pounds, but I've gained 25 back. Since last March I joined the non-surgical weightloss program at the hospital in TN where I had my surgery. It is holistic and I was on track and lost 16 pounds last summer, gained 10 or so back. I've got to get this figured out.
Last week I realized I need to surround myself with things and people who are focused and motivated. I just subscribed to OH Mag (I remember getting the very first issue, but haven't kept up), looking for one or two others and lots of practical ideas from other people: How did you DO it?!!!?!?!? How are you DOING it??!!!
When I'm being "good" I chew a lot of Trident Cinammon gum. I also live on Nestea Ice tea with nutrasweet. I add about 1/4 c. orange juice to every 20 ozs that I drink. I have been bad and not following my 10 rules for pouches. What am I thinking?!!!!
Hope I'll be back. I had a profile so long ago, apparently they cleaned house and I wasn't registered anymore.

Count me in too! I just can't seem to get it back. I wake up every day with all the right things in my head about what I want to do and I just don't make it through the day.
I am so ahamed to be where I am at right now I have about a , 25 pound gain. Any and all help, inspiration will be wonderful. If we all support each other we can do this and not just get it back on track but KEEP it on track!!

So glad I found this thread!!!!
I have lost 130 pounds, but have been stuck for weeks now at the same weight!! I need to get moving, but HATE exercise!!!!I keep putting it off,,I have not exercised at all since my surgery, except for a few times, nothing consistent. Ive been in a size 14 now for about 4 months, although I do have a few 12's I can wear. All this from a size 28 17 months ago, so Im thrilled to say the least. Im just so afraid I will gain!!
Ive started grazing,,and eating wrong things. and its scaring me!!
Help! need to ba accountable, so maybe we can do this together!!!
