I've got a date for my TT!!
well i had my consult yesterday and i'm schedule for a TT on 1/24! i'm so excited. i was hoping to have my BL done also but i just don't have the money for that right now. unfortunately with my insurance (medicare) i won't know if they'll pay for any of my skin removal until after the surgery. so i have to pay for it all upfront and then i'd get reimbursed if they cover any part of it. the doctor said i had so much skin that they'll be doing the anchor cut which is fine with me. i'm not planning on wearing a binkini or anything. i just want to get rid of all this extra skin that's just hanging there and causing problems! anyway...i was just so excited i had to share!!
Steph, I told you already congratulations but you've inspired me to get moving girl. I've been wanting to start the PS process but I've been scared. After talking to you this morning, I made appts with 2 surgeons for consult. I go on January 30th for the first and Feb 2nd for the second.
I even got prices if I do have to pay for the TT and it isn't as bad as I initially expected. I'm pumped now, I hope it works out for me.

Hey Ginny....yeah i'm keeping all fingers and toes crossed for that reimbursement but i'm not gonna hold my breath! how bad did you feel after the TT? i'm also getting a pubic lift and lipo to my hips...i'm sure i'll be sore. the doctor said most people complain about the sore muscles from having them tightened. he said he'll give me some good pain pills but i don't like to take anything. i never did pain pills for any of my surgeries but i did have a pain pump when i had pancreatitis. how silly is that?? I will keep you posted...and any words of wisdom on the pain issue would be greatly appreciated!
