What will 2007 do for you?
Happy New Year Everyone,
I have several things I would like to do in 2007. I am working on giving up the food shopping to my husband. Even though I have lost the weight (2 years since surgery) I still grocery shop for my eating disorder. I cook too much food and my pantry is overloaded. It is insane to have so much food in the pantry and freezer and shop every week. I am throwing away food all of the time because I buy food for my eating disorder but don't eat it. My husband eats normally, so he does not eat it. I am thinking about this and think it would be ok to "release this chore to him." Scarey for me.
I also want to commit to 3 days a week of exercise. I dont plan to kill myself or commit to some insane work out schedule that I know I can not keep up with, so just 3 days a week and more if possible.
I also would like to commit to being smoke free for 2007. I started smoking in September 2006 after years of being a non-smoker. I now quit on 12/26 and would like to re-commit myself to being a non-smoker.
I also would like to be more tolerant of others. This means keeping my mouth shut when I don't approve and better yet - let things go. I don't like myself when I am critical of myself or others.
There are my goals for now - take care everyone and keep up the good work. I really depend on this forum for my own sanity and support.

The giving up food shopping is great! I have been wasting food for years. We buy things and never eat them....yes that has been going on in my house over two years. I guess you are right its part of the eating disorder. Good choices of things to change for 2007. May 2007 bring all of this to you.
Happy New Year.

#1 = Get rid of 150 pounds of ugly husband
#2 = Get rid of the STUPID 23 pounds I have put on this year
#3 = Really get into the program my personal trainer has mapped out for me
#4 = Try to eat healthier. I can't eat sugar, but the sugar free stuff tastes WAY too good. Gotta back off on that.
#5 = Just say NO to the chips
#6 = Spend a lot less (and eat better) by not going out to eat every day for lunch. I need to start packing healthy lunches & snacks.
#7 = Learn Spanish
A safe, healthy and prosperous new year to each and every one.
