Im fessin'! I gained back 4 pounds over Christmas,,thanks to the cookies!! i found out I can tolerate sweets, so I gotta be careful from now on! Ive purged the house of all temptations, and am ready to get back on track. Why are we such creatures of habit...especially when they are bad habits?? My skirt was tight this morning,,that was a wake up call!!! I didnt do this to mess it up!! So, water water water, work out, and protein!! Thats the order of the day around here!! Glad to see I wasnt the only one in the boat! We can do this!!

Guess that I am human tooo!!!! I have been weighing in at WW and trying not to gain too much over the last two months. I have managed to gain 6 lbs since November. Don't feel tooo bad about it though. Like every one else -- I am also on the kick-the-butt syndrome. I guess that is what normal people to during the holidays. Relax a bit, enjoy, don't over do it tooooo much --- and in the end --- get it off. I am almost three years out -- I have lost about 30 lbs this year. I still want to lose about 20 lbs to be at my personal goal. I feel like I am doing well. I don't feel like this is a set back. Neither do I feel guilty. I have had a GREAT THIRD YEAR!!!! Just need to get to the gym --- get back to more healthier eating --- Let's don't let those few pounds sit for too long on our hips. LOL!!!! Debra

Tracy, I so have the tight pants too! There is a gain....I so hate it....I am back to heavy gym routine, trying to detox carbs....its hard. But I know I can't keep eating them like I have these last few months. Otherwise I will be back where I came from....nah not going back to 425lbs.....not in this lifetime. I gained 3-4 pounds - mainly because when I started smoking I quit exercising. Crazy huh. I am grateful that it was not 15-20 pounds which had happened in the years prior to WL surgery. I count my blessings when I put on my size 12-14 (depending onstyle) pants every day and they zip. I remember squeezing into size 24-26 and feeling so uncomfortable that I wanted to go home and put my nightgown on. No longer do I feel a prisoner by my own clothes. I think that most normal weight people (I hear them talk at work) gain 3-5 pounds at Holidays. It is scarey for us due to what we have been through. My doctor's goal was still for me to lose another 30 pounds. I am pretty happy with where I am but guess I could stand to lose another 10-15 so I can have some breathing room (ha ha). I know many of the women who are now a size 4 to 10. How wonderful for them. I feel good at size 12-14. I find myself getting crazy about size and numbers on the scale so try to stay away from it. I know I am rambling but this post brought up some issues for me. I gained a few pounds and now I will work to get it off. Smoke free is good for me. Have a great day. Sarah

Count me in too! I've gained 10 pounds since last May, 5 since Thanksgiving. Arrgh! You'd think we'd be smarter! For me, it was party mix, cookies, egg nog. Even tho I feel absolutely awful after drinking egg nog (dumping), I still do it. Go figure. So today I've had 2 protein bars, 3/4 C cottage cheese, 1/2 C peanuts and maybe 2 C of popcorn. The popcorn wasn't in my plan but my hubby had to open up a can of the 3 kinds. No will power. Like Tracy, I know some of it is water retention. Has to be with all the party mix I've eaten. I've drawn a line in the sand (if there was any). I'm losing those 10 pounds and 5 of their friends to finally get to goal. Need to do it by April 14th, my son's wedding where I will see my ex for the first time in about 12 years. Strange motivation, but hey, if it works!

Tracy, I'm there with you! I joined Weigh****chers two weeks before xmas...lost 5.8 lbs the first week and the next gained 5 lbs. So I guess I have stayed the same. But those crackers and cheese did get me!!! We'll see how I've done on week 3 soon! I decided to join WW because I've been at a plateau forever. I know my body has changed alot and that has to be taken into consideration...but I want to get the rest of this weight off! I lost 100 lbs my first 6 months and only 20 lbs over the last year!
