Hi everyone! I'm 2 yrs post-op as of August and looking for an accountability partner. I need some help. I don't eat well at all. I'm not taking care of myself the way I should and I really could use someone to keep me on track. I have lost 103lbs. I haven't gained any weight back, but I'm not faithful to vitamins or protein intake. I eat whatever I want (not in huge amounts, but things I should be avoiding). Anyway, I am looking for someone who is doing MUCH better than me to help me stay on track. I would like to email you everyday with what I intend to eat and what I ate the day before. If you have struggled (or not) and would be willing to help I would so much appreciate you. I have considered joining OA, but thought that maybe they would not understand my nourishment issues and food intake requirements. I know this is a lot to ask, but it wouldn't take much of your time. Please let me know if you are interested, I would really appreciate having another woman who understands my needs to help. Angelina

Tracy, I just had to interrupt... I thought I recognized you at the Barbara Thompson Seminar in Erie PA. I was the one staring at you. I thought maybe I had met you before and for the life of me I couldn't figure out where. As I just now saw your post, I knew. You looked awesome. I was amazed in your succcess. Bonny

Hi Angelina! I know that Tracy has agreed to be your accountability partner but if for some reason you need another ear feel free to contact me. I will be 3 years post-op in Feb. My starting weight was 252 and I lost down to about 135. After my 2 year anniversary, I really started to struggle with the same things that you are having a hard time with, unfortunately, I had a weight gain to go long with my struggles. I know how important it is to have someone who has had WLS to talk with because it's hard for other people to understand. For me personally, the weight gain wasn't the most upsetting it was that I was allowing food to have control again...and that scared me! On a positive note, I have been able to get things back under control and have lost all but 5 pounds (I gained 25 ) so it is possible to get things under control but I know that when I was in the midst of my poor choices, it was hard to believe that. You can do it ...you look wonderful! You have an absolutely adorable family!! If I can be of any support to you, please feel free to e-mail me anytime at maryb614@yahoo.com. Mary

I would love to be a part of your accountability circle too....I am 3 1/2 years post op...I haven't gained any weight but I have noticed some emotional eating habits creeping back in and that food controlling me thing happening...it is SCARY. I am frustrated too because I desperately want to be in the 130's and just can't seem to get the right formula for getting the rest of my weight off...Have you guys discussed how to communicate daily food logs? Krissy
