Update

Four years and I am still maintaining my weight. I had my inner thigh lift. I am still recovering from it. I had some complications but I it was worth it. I am very happy with my body. I love to dress sexy and show off my curves. I am planning to have my pictures take in about two month or so. A big difference Before and After. Thanks to Howard S. Caplan, M. D. Hi.... Please tell me how it went. I got the tummy and arms done in July and gettin the thighs and my sides, done too. I hear it was very very painful, the legs the worst ?? My arms still hurt a bit though , How long has your recovery been?? I am shootin for FEB or March of next year, need the tax time monies... Kim in Chicago

Good morning Teah, Well I am in Chicago and I can tell you I researched for about 2yrs before I decided on a surgeon. While I found most were very quailified, I figured since I was going to pay 12k for it I wanted someone who was not only very qualified but had a nice bedside manner, or at least pretend to be happy for me that I lost all this weight. I choose Dr. Lisa Peters who has an office in Forest Park(next to Oak Park) - she was great and is double board certified and really listens, pays attention to your needs and wants. She works with a lot of post opp patients and does take insurance, if they pay. She is up to date on latest procedures, she actually did some kind of new procedure on my arms too. They are so so much better though I still wish they could be smaller but I know I had a LOT of skin. Two pound of skin from each arm, 6pds from the tummy. Also I of course had the 1-1000 complications regarding the pain. This surgery was more painful than the tummy and the scares still hurt 5 months later and I am not completely healed yet. Now the tummy if FABULOUS , with the exception of not be able to do ab work for a few months- no pain or nothing , got the belly button pierced, and I love it. I am definately going to her for my inner thighs and sides, my boobs WELL lets just say hubby is good and I aint gonna be an exotic dancer anytime soon ..hee,hee!! So they appear to be a D and thats the illusion I will keep for now. Dr Peters information can be found on the the PS tab here and here address and hospitals are on there too. I never went throught so much pain! The thigh lift was hard. But the tummy was the worst. I am not having my arms done. Thank you and good luck. Left me know how things go. I have a pic up how.
