What makes someone a WLS graduate?
Hi Barb, I've been posting here since maybe 6 months post op. I go back and forth from Fl. board to here and also check in with Feb 05 peers.
I think you can consider yourself a graduate with all you have been through and all you have lost...don't you? Hope you are feeling better every day and let me be the first to say welcome!
~Ginny
My understanding is that it is for folks 1 year or most post-op and has nothing to do with the number of pounds you have lost since everyone is different nor is it about reaching goal since many folks at 1 year aren't quite there yet.
It'd be nice if there was some text at the top that gave a clue what the list was for.

hey barbi..... i think its over a year out....i wanted to tell you... but keep forgetting... LOL i see rosenthal soon for my 2 year apt... i saw him right before i had plastics... and he remembered what i looked like and my name... ive never had a dr do that before LOL how are you feeling and hows your belly button problem?
Hey kiddo!I'm great - except now I've got a sinus issue but honestly - doing great with the belly button thing. I did see Rosenthal Last thurs because once again I had begun to ooze and bleed from the most recent surgical site. I swear I'm jinxed!!!!
Turns out my body couldn't absorb the suture and then I got a little infection. Dr Salimath lanced the site and pulled out the offending sutures from the 3 sites. OUCH!!!!
I spoke with Gina Sweats the nut @ CC-Weston and she gave me all good news about my 1 yr labs. I'm NORMAL!!!! for once in my life - thank you JESUS!!!!
My B-12 levels are high so they want me to take the sublingual tabs 3xs a week. Go Figure!
I'm eating well and more importantly, I'm actually wanting food. Something I didn't have a desire for for an entire year.
Now more importantly, share with me about your PS. When I met with my PCP this morning to go over my recurring back aches and the sinus thing, we talked about how this is all related to the extra skin that's just hanging in the wind.
I'm a nut - I can't remember who you used. What's the consult price etc. etc....
