Holding Myself Accountable (Day 2)
Well yesterday wasnt too bad really. Because I scheduled my meals with a snack, I almost felt like I was eating all the time.
Here is what I ended up doing - a little modified from the original plan:
Breafast - Protein shake
Lunch - 2 hard boiled eggs, 1c Jello
Snack - Stick of cheese, Protein shake, 2 Hersheys Kisses
Dinner - 1 hard boiled egg, 1c Jello
830pm snack at night job - Protein shake
1145pm snack at night job - 90cal Chewy Granola bar
Total: 775 calories, 94g+ protein
Today is going to be about the same but instead of the Chewy granola bar tonight at work I am gonna do a low-carb yogurt. (Total: 724 calories, 103g protein). Today will be harder because it is the second Tuesday of the month. This means at work that we have TREATS in the cafeteria at 3pm to celebrate the month's birthdays. You may have guessed that this usually is not a HEALTHY treat.... and damn my boss for brining in chocolates today! I had ONE so +60cal for today.
Well there is nothing like weight loss to motivated you!!! We can all attest to that!
Monday Weight: 194.5lbs
Today's Weight: 191.5lbs
We will see what tomorrow brings!
Yea - and its crazy because I get even more motivation knowing that I have that much will power to stick with it!!! LOL - silly minds.
We will see what tomorrow bring and then the rest of the week... I might add in some chix breast by the end of the week.
I'll keep ya updated... and thanks for the support!
Wow Melissa! You did great. What a good idea to post this. I have been struggling for about a year now. I stayed the same for 10 months and just the last month or two have gone up 5 pounds. I eat too much sugar. I get sick if I over do it, but I still can eat too much. I've been really trying to get back to the basics and everyday I have good intentions and then I don't follow them. But, your idea is great. Keep it up. It gives me incentive and ideas to follow. I'll be boiling eggs tonight.
I really wish more graduates posted on this site. I was on the main board for a long time, but so much doesn't fit with where I'm at now. I like coming to this board and see what everyone else is doing.
I'll be following your posts!
Good luck,
Nancy
